Electronic Stethoscope

Provides the ability to diagnose whether a located item is armed or is in a ‘running’ condition.

The Electronic Stethoscope or Dopplerscope provides EOD professionals with the ability to diagnose whether a located item is armed or is in a ‘running’ condition. It is a sensitive monitoring system for the detection of electronic and mechanical timing systems which are found within IED and some UXO. Containing two types of sensor – a non-contact hand-held microwave sensor, and a contact hand-held audio sensor – the system is exceptionally easy to use. The equipment contains audio headphones, a small electronic control unit/amplifier (shoulder or belt mounted), battery pack and charger all provided in a robust carry case.
