The CT-DECT radio is widely recognized for its superior performance, with crystal clear full duplex sound quality and remarkably low power consumption.

The CT-DECT system is compatible with the EOD 9A bomb disposal Helmet and is deployed in numerous countries by leading First Responder agencies.  It has the technical capabilities needed for Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) missions in public safety and military operations. Its audio quality has earned the respect of users the world over and the ability to extend its range through a re-transmitter enables it to be deployed in challenging urban environments.

  • The CT-DECT system is a secure solution that allows the response team to communicate in full duplex (low power- 10 mW)
  • The EOD technician connects their CT-DECT Multi unit directly to the EOD 9 Helmet via an integrated cord in the suit
  • If the technician wears a respiratory mask or a helmet not equipped with the Med-Eng ASR system, a throat microphone with earphone can be connected to the CT-DECT Multi system
  • The other team member connects their CT-DECT Multi radio unit to a microphone or helmet
  • The range between the two radios is typically 200m in open terrain and 75m in urban areas
  • Multiple master/slave configurations are possible
