IEDD Kit
The Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) Kit provides EOD Operators and Bomb Technicians with a comprehensive set of explosive charges needed to fulfil the wide range of complex IEDD tasks. Mini Breacher’s Boot™
The Mini Breacher’s Boot™ is a small water tamped charge used to kick in doors. It is smaller and lighter than the Breacher’s Boot™ and is designed specifically to fit on the side panels of uPVC and wooden doors. It is a highly versatile charge that allows the operator to use it against a wide range of targets by simply adjusting the explosive load and number of charges used.
MiniMod™
The MiniMod™ Mk2 is a lightweight, explosively driven, water disruptor for use against small to medium sized IEDs. It shares the same essential features as the entire “Mod” family of disruptors, including the larger Boot Banger and MLVD™ and is ideal for disrupting IEDs ranging in size from a brief-case up to a large suitcase or even an animal carcass.
Pluton™
The Pluton™ is a shaped charge system in the Vulcan family of charges and is the next size up from the Vulcan.
As part of the Vulcan™ family, it shares many common design features with the other sizes reducing the training burden of introducing a completely new system.
QMod™
THE QMod™ is a a medium weight, explosively driven, water disruptor for use against medium sized IEDs such as fire extinguishers.
It shares the same form and geometry as an MLVD™ module but is a quarter of the length, making it the ideal disruptor for mounting on a mini ROV or for carrying on the person.
